Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has been raising objections on Nawaz Sharif. Today I am going to discuss some of the points.
1. He is a corrupt man
Imran Khan always says this sentence. I am surprised why Imran has changed his attitude for PMLN. Remember that same Imran Khan has been standing with Nawaz Sharif during the Movement for Restoration of Judiciary in Pakistan. Due to some unknown reasons, at the final long march led by Nawaz Sharif, Imran hid himself at some secret place. People of Pakistan joined PMLN and Lawyers and the government had no other option than restoring the deposed Chief Justice. Imran says why Nawaz Sharif turned back from Gujranwala. At that time, Shahbaz Sharif’s government was dismissed by High court. Punjab was under Governor’s rule. Nawaz Sharif returned from Gujranwala only because his party was not fighting for Shahbaz Sharif’s regime. After getting the goal, he announced to end long march. Imran is jealous since that day as he could not wear the crown on his head. I ask only one question to Imran Khan. Nawaz Sharif is not in power. How can he do corruption? There is not even a single example of corruption in Shahbaz Sharif’s government. Why did Imran Khan shake hand with Nawaz Sharif earlier? He is just repenting for not going into assembly.
Nawaz Sharif is alleged for not paying his taxes. The man has shown his tax return reports on TV and hence the allegation is no more valid. If there is something wrong, Imran Khan must go to the courts rather than speaking alla balla.
2. He did a deal and moved to Saudi Arabia
I have heard some people saying these words. They always raise the point why Nawaz and family did not prefer to be hanged instead of shaking hand with Musharraf. They quote the example of Z.A. Bhutto who did not deal with Gen Zia.
Please note the difference between the two. Bhutto was hanged on desire of USA. Whereas, Musharraf was fully intending to hang Nawaz Sharif in Hijacking case. Iqbal Raad’s murder was a clear indication of Musharraf’s intentions. Luckily, Nawaz had developed strong relations with Bill Clinton and Rulers of Arabia. So they pressurised Musharraf to release Nawaz and Shahbaz. On Musharraf’s demand, these rulers got an assurity from Sharif family that they would not take part in politics for next ten years. Later on, Nawaz Sharif was declared innocent in cases made against him. However, the great leader fulfilled his words with Saudi Rulers and did not come into assembly. Now the period of that treaty is over and he is free to take part in elections.
3. Nawaz Sharif and Zardari are Same
Totally wrong. How can you compare two people who have nothing in common? One is the King of Corruption whereas the other has pain for the people. PMLN has been behaving in a decent way only because they never want to take Pakistani politics back into nineties. That is why they always protested in a better way. However, they never compromised on the core issues. Nawaz Sharif was the only leader who clearly spoke against wrong actions by armed forces after the incidents starting from 2nd May. Zardari left Pakistan during the floods. Nawaz Sharif and PMLN leadrers are focussing on Sindh. Shahbaz is doing great job against Dengue epidermic.
4. Nawaz Sharif is supporting PPP
Another wrong interpretation. Nawaz Sharif just gave an opportunity to PPP to deliver. However, PPP failed to deliver. Now PPP will have no excuse in next elections for their inability. Moreover, Army is also favoring Peoples Party. That is why Supreme Court’s verdicts are not honored and implemented in their true spirit. The only way is to wait for the next elections unless Army change their mind.
Conclusions:
Imran Khan should behave maturely. He must join hands with PMLN to bring Pakistan out of crisis. By splitting the vote of right sided parties, Imran is serving the interests of agencies and is strengthening PPP government. If Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed and PMLQ (Like-minded) are ready to walk with Nawaz Sharif, why not Imran Khan? Shahbaz has set example of a corruption free government in Punjab. In future, PTI and PMLN can serve this country in a much better way. Imran should take Sports ministry and he must deliver. People will definitely bring him as Prime Minister. But for now it is too early. Imran has never been a part of government. Once being in cabinet, he will gain the real experience and will also see the ground realities.

I have asked a question to Imran Khan, “Why did you shake hand with Nawaz Sharif earlier?”. If Nawaz Sharif has been corrupt in past (according to some people), Imran should have kept away from him throughout. And if Imran Khan had forgotten the past, then what has changed his views now? Nawaz Sharif is not a part of government. He is not in a position to indulge in corruption. Shahbaz Sharif is running Punjab Government under the guidance of Nawaz Sharif. There is not even a single charge of corruption against Punjab Government. The only thing is that Imran is highly frustrated for sitting out of parliament. He made a blunder by boycotting 2008 Elections.
“Why Nawaz and Shahbaz do not accept the deal publicly?” – Another interesting question asked.
Shahbaz clearly accepted the deal in 2007 when Nawaz Sharif tried to come back to Pakistan. As I have written above, the deal was made to give relief to Sharif family. Later on, Supreme Court exonerated Mian Nawaz Sharif in all cases filed by General Musharraf. So if they had to save their lives through a package, there was nothing worng in that. However, bringing everything open to public is not a wise act in politics.
Now I ask a question. Tyrine White is the daughter of Imran Khan and Sita White. It has been declared by American court. Why does Imran Khan not accept it publicly? I hope the one who asked the question has got my point.

Its a wonderful effort to support the leaders of PML-N. However I am still not convinced to give them a clean sheet for the blunders/ corruption they committed during their earlier stints in government. {This is assuming what you have said to be true that Nawaz has not done any corruption and Shahbaz is ruling Punjab brilliantly}. We had voted him with 2/3rd Majority and what he did was kick out a President, army chief and chief justice. I am also not so sure about his current stance about Islamization process, which he was pushing through Shariah Bill in 1997. Now he is back with his same old stories of PPP being corrupt and he being angel even though he was in government back then in Punjab and now his brother is in Government in Punjab.

Ok, Nawaz could not develop good relations with Army, Judiciary and Presidency in past. He was saved by USA and Saudi Arabian rulers. Then??? He arrived back at the end of 2007. Before that he arranged an All Parties Conference in London. All parties including PTI participated in that conference. Why did Imran Khan accept his invitation? Why did Imran Khan stand besides him during Musharraf’s regime? Why did Imran Khan became his follower in Movement for Restoration of Judiciary? Imran must have run a separate movement. Nawaz Sharif split away his ways from Shujaat and Pervez Ilahi because they betrayed him. Shujaat tried his level best to coop with Nawaz but the later never agreed. Today, a large number of politicians have wished to join hands with Nawaz Sharif. On the other hand, a failed politician Mian Azhar liked to join PTI. Only because, keeping in view his worth in market, he had no respectable option left behind.
not 100% truth about Nawaz Sharif but i most of the things are true. think we have only one choice now and that is Mian Nawaz Sharif because we have not take a risk on choosing imran khan due to bad experience in past like relations with musharf, nawaz,MMA,MQM,PMLQ,

In 90′s, Sharif family made a decision that Nawaz Sharif will not take part in family business as he is a political figure and Prime Minister of the country. Nawaz Sharif transferred his all assets (business assets and property) to his family members that included his wife, sons and daughters. Now, actually that all business and property is owned by Nawaz Sharif, however, in papers, the business shares and lands belong to his other family members. Nawaz has challenged all opponents to get a fair audit of tax submitted/paid off by Sharif Family. That’s why Imran Khan or Babar Awan do not go into the courts as all family members are paying their tax honestly.
